
AIRPORTS. Moscow is served by three international airports: Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo. Their share in total passenger traffic in Russia is more than 55%. Total in 2010, three airports served more capital 51 million passengers. Closest to the center of Moscow and the only existing airport, situated in the city, is "Vnukovo". From this airport are carried out mainly inside Russia and charter flights. At Sheremetyevo airport is based largest carrier of Russia - Aeroflot. Meanwhile, the airport "Domodedovo" is the leader of the Moscow passenger air traffic, and according to many polls, one of the best airports in Eastern Europe.
